About LeafGuard Gutters & Roofing of the Midlands
LeafGuard of the Midlands is an expansion office from LeafGuard of Central Iowa near Des Moines. As word of mouth traveled across western Iowa it finally reached the Missouri River and floated across to Omaha, NE. The demand for a quality maintenance free gutter system like the LeafGuard brand was in high demand for the state that is home to Arbor Day. LeafGuard of Central Iowa’s owner Joe Smith saw an opportunity to expand his business and wisely decided to open another office. After careful thought and lots of planning LeafGuard of the Midlands was established in 2006. With a strong commitment to customer service, quality products and installation LeafGuard of the Midlands has become one of Nebraska’s largest gutter companies.
With a passion for success and a strong drive to be the best we have expanded our product line to include GAF’s Lifetime asphalt roof systems and became a Master Elite Roofing Contractor for GAF. By keeping our strong commitments to provide and install only the best products LeafGuard of the Midlands earned GAF’s Triple Excellence award in 2013. This is the highest honor a Master Elite Roofer can earn.

In the field reputation is everything and LeafGuard of the Midlands is honored to carry an “A+” rating with the Better Business Bureau and an “A” rating on Angie’s List; along with winning Angie’s List’s 2013 Super Service Award. To ensure our work is being performed to the highest standards possible we also utilize the service of GuildQuality, an independent company that surveys every customer within a week of the job being completed.

James Hartkorn, General Manager
James is a high energy professional who knows what it takes to run an efficient business. James has a customer service oriented mindset and will do what it takes to make sure everything goes smoothly. James also acts as the President for the Greater Omaha Remodeling Association where his business ethics and desire to be a true professional shine through. James enjoys playing golf, cheering for the Iowa Hawkeyes and the Chicago Bears, but most importantly spending time with his wife Sarah and two sons Phoenix and Hendrix.
Kiley Wensing, Office Manager
Kiley manages the office staff and handles the accounting duties. Kiley has such a knack for customer service her personality shines brighter than the sun! Kiley grew up in Fremont, NE. She really enjoys country music, playing volleyball and golf. Most of all she loves to spend time with her Husband Jordan and beautiful baby boy Jaden.
Production Department
Our production department has hands on installation experience and a proven track record in customer service.
Dave Phillip, Production Manager
Dave has over 30 years of hands on home improvement experience. Dave is an honest and true professional with a passion for making sure every job is right. Dave handles all things production from scheduling, delivering materials, installation and training. Dave grew up in Council Bluffs and his attention to detail spawns from his artistic nature. In his spare time, Dave likes to draw and play chess.
